Getting Into Hot Water: A Sound Map

Everywhere we go we listen to the sounds around us and often record them.

When listening closely we soon become aware that the sound of the world is not designed or constructed. Things are happening together at the same time, in sequences and durations, that are the result of actions of independent, interconnected and entangled processes, so it does include birds, trees, cars, telephones, voices, water, movement, durations, rhythms, harmony and dissonance...

Below is a map of where Getting Into Hot Water has taken us from its earliest beginning, focussing on that different sensibility. It is messy and surprising, and offers us a myriad of different perspectives  and ways of knowing.
